Body Fat / RMBR Tool Bodyfat testing is an important tool for the fitness trainer to monitor progress. The most accurate method of body fat testing is to use a set of callipers. The body fat tool below will give you a rough estimation of your body fat levels using your waist size, weight and sex. It should be used as a guide only - fitness.uk.net have tested the results of this tool against calliper testing and there is on average a 0-2.5% difference. This online tool is however an excellent way to monitor progress as the results will change as your physique does. The tool will also calculate your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMBR) which will give you the amount of calories your body needs at rest on a daily basis to maintain weight.
