Fish Oils

Fish oil is found in fattier types of fish such as Salmon or mackerel. This oil is rich in a type of fat called Omega-3.

How do fish oils work?

Scientific study has conclusively revealed that eating large amounts of fish oil seems to reduce the risk of diabetes. Omega-3 fatty acids encourages the recpetor sites on muscle to increses insulin sensitivity. This allows the body to release less insulin. This has the knock on effect of limiting fat storage and so insulin channels carbohydrates and proteins into muscle tissues.
