Training Guide

This section is currently being reviewed. All the links are working and the exercise profiles are complete but we are waiting to add the pictures. These will be live ASAP

This section presents exercises you can do in the gym or at home (with the appropriate equipment) that you can use as part of your training program. If you have joined fitness.uk.net and have received your personalised Training Programme then use this section as a guide on how to perform the exercises safely and with the correct technique. The Guide currently focuses on free weight movements but we plan to extend it to cover machines in the next couple of months.

There are over 70 exercises featured here, each on their own profile page. The profile will explain which muscles are being targeted and rate the exercise as suitable for beginners, intermediate or advanced trainers. The exercise technique is explained and pictures show the start/end and mid-phase movements For ease of use, we have created 6 body part sections and the exercises are each assigned to their own section.

Please ensure you have read and understood the Training Techniques and Disclaimer sections before you attempt any exercises in this guide. Please also ensure that you use proper manual handling techniques when lifting or moving any weights. Always bend your knees when stooping down. You use this guide entirely at your own risk.
